Character Biography

Erin Storm: Former F.B.I. assassin.

Growing up in a family of government spies, assassins and secrets, Erin knew at a young age that she would someday be in the family business. As an independent tomboy she was a lot like her father, and would often find ways to tag along when he did things with his circle of friends populated by spies, ex-spies and people with questionable pasts.

Her brashness often won them over as she would inject herself into conversations and eventually they treated her as a favored niece. She would even go so far as to ask them to teach her and train her in their unique skills, such as with Retired MI5 agent Reginald Dwight.

Dwight has trained with the British Royal Marines sniper corp., becoming one of their highest-ranking marksmen before becoming an agent and sniper for MI5. Reluctantly he took Erin under his wing and watched as her skills soon surpassed his own. His inspiration is one of the key reasons Erin chose the course she did within the FBI.

Within the FBI she quickly earned a reputation for fast learning and action. She was reliable and professional and always willing to take on the most dangerous assignments.

Her immediate supervisor Mark Weathers had known Erin’s family for many years and in fact had a history with her Father. Erin’s father was a man who made problems go away. Weathers had a personal problem, Erin’s father made it go away. Even after Erin left the FBI returning for the occasional freelance assignment Weathers worked to help her, and as best he could keep her in the loop.

During her last official assignment with the FBI, Erin fell in love with Steven Jackson, oldest son of the family she was working to protect. Most of the Jackson family including Steven was killed, and Erin was seriously injured, when events got out of her control. When Weathers could not allow her to retaliate, she left the bureau and vowed to avenge the family’s murder.

After killing her lover’s murderers and having left the F.B.I., Erin now works with Weathers on a case-by-case basis, and operates under his protection while also taking various freelance assignments. While on the trail of the killer of the man she loved, she made new contacts and slowly started to build an independent network for herself. Through a contact of a contact she found "Debbie", who works with Erin as an operations specialist and has a history of knowing people who know things. Not much is known of Debbie as few have ever met her in person, she is always a voice on the phone sitting at a computer. All Erin does know is that Debbie also works in the adult industry a phone sex operator or does she?

Leaving the F.B.I. has been difficult for Erin, not only for her father's ties to the bureau, but her older brother and sister are still agents, both of their spouses are agents, and her mother, Annette, was also a spy. Erin now relates better to her younger sister, the only other member of the family not in the family business.

Now 27, Erin lives in a sparsely decorated apartment on the SouthSide of Pittsburgh (The apt. building is owned by the F.B.I. so there's no need to hide her activities), which is just a few miles from the family home where they still get together for dinner as often as possible, at least once a week.

She is very competitive with her 2 older siblings- Bob Jr., who is the spy/ adventurer like their father (trying to win his father’s approval), and Emily (mom’s favorite), who works for Homeland Security. Her younger sister, Lindsay, works in a coffee shop and is very left-wing/ anti-war, which causes plenty of problems at home.

Erin eats mainly fast food, as she eats out every night, and loves Wintergreen Life Savers. She enjoys reading, Pirates baseball games (Her father had season tickets for the family written into his contract when they were growing up), taking long drives in her 1988 Pontiac Formula (Which she is constantly bringing to her father to repair), or walking up and down Carson St. window shopping. Since the murder of Steven, Erin has not had a serious relationship- She spends most of her time working, studying assignments and trying to perfect her plans for each to avoid mistakes like the one that killed her lover.
